Come and Learn Flamenco in Seville!

Come and discover the Art of Flamenco in Seville, the birthplace of Flamenco. Together with our partner school, we organize all year round Flamenco courses for all levels from beginner to advanced: flamenco dancing, singing, guitar, cajón etc. We can also offer special courses created for specific times of the year.

Dance and Technique

Regular groups courses- All year round

Dance: The course focuses exclusively on the staging of choreography for different flamenco styles (seguiriyas, soleá, soleá por bulerías, alegrías, etc.).

Technique: These courses deal with the coordination of movements of different parts of the body and consolidation of concepts which are fundamental for the flamenco dance.

Classes

Maximum of seven students per course Monday to Friday. Designed for all levels.

Beginners: 120 minutes each day. In case there is only one person on the course, it would be 90 minutes each day.

All levels except beginners: 90 minutes each day. In case there is only one person on the course, it would be 60 minutes each day.

How to Book a course

Flamenco Guitar

Course Type: Private courses only

Covering all aspects of flamenco guitar, methods, exercises, falsetas, playing for singing and dancing.

The one-to-one nature of the classes guarantees that each student can work on the aspect that he/she wishes to learn, improve or perfect.

Classes

Monday to Friday, 90 minutes each day.

Designed for all levels.

How to Book a course

Compás & Palmas (rhythm and clapping)

Course Type: Private courses

Mastery of rhythms is fundamental to the practice of flamenco. The compás & palmas classes are a complement to the dance and guitar courses.

Classes

Monday to Friday, One hour 60 minutes.

Designed for all levels.

Dates

• 4th - 15th of May
• 18th - 29th of May

Maximum: Seven students per course

* Level Beginners: Every day from Monday to Friday, 2 hours flamenco dance + technique + 1 hour Compás & Palmas.

** Other levels: Every day from Monday to Friday, 90 minutes Flamenco Dance/ Technique/ Guitar + 1 hour Compás & Palmas.

The price also includes: One night out with the students (Monday), Diploma at the end of the course, Map of Seville, leaflet with flamenco events in Seville and discounts in flamenco shops.

How to Book a course

Levels

The following is a list of guidelines to help students determine their proper level:

Beginners Level:

• Students who don't have any previous experience with Flamenco Dance.

Relative Beginners level:

• Students who have already had previous experience with Flamenco Dance (or classic ballet dancing) from six months to two years, once or twice weekly.

Intermediate level:

• Students who have acquired a basic knowledge of the different body techniques used in Flamenco Dance (footwork, arms... ) and who have already worked with complete choreographies of some basic forms. Tangos de Málaga, Tangos or Alegrías. Between two and three years experience.

Advanced Intermediate level:

• Students who have achieved technical control and possess extensive knowledge of the techniques of flamenco dance and forms among which we would included Bulerías, Seguiriyas and Soleá. At least three years experience.
